    [GRAPHICS] Sleek landscape

lost the files from my original version along with our pc in a flood that hit here weeks ago, so im gonna start from scratch. No worries, its just a matter of shading areas that are supposed to slope. I still have the terrain pack BTW, just no coast-sea cliff...

    3d terrain 2016-10-05

A graphic mod made by womoks made more realistic with bump mapped terrain looking like civs 4 and 5

    [GRAPHICS] Sleek landscape

theyre not actually cliffs, theyre just steep beaches if you observe carefully in civs 4 and 5. there is a hill though on the north-west side of the mountain:)

    [GRAPHICS] Sleek landscape

i completely agree that the tiles need to match up, updates will be posted soon, still editing the terrain tiles as we speak.:D For the mountains, they look good in tundra and desert tiles too. the base terrain of mountains is always grassland so it should blend well.:)

    [GRAPHICS] Sleek landscape

This is to 3d-ize Civ3 by copying the sleek design of the terrain in CIV and CiV. This is my first attempt so bear with me :) this is the un-edited flat version (credits to Womoks) and the cleaner version Changes: Bumped the terrain up a bit Mountains have more detail Shallow...

    is it 'good' to automate?

I actually took a crack at it but when i reach MA or IA, i just get too many workers that i just lose track and be lazy then its automate time! i guess it all has to do with patience and endurance. @negral, I agree workers waste too much turns on improvements that are not as necessary yet...

    Oh, Civ3.

supply lines would be good. Now i'll have to think twice about sending my infantry deep into enemy territory having to worry about its food, ammunition stretching too far. just for realism.

    is it 'good' to automate?

ive been doing it since i started playing civ 3. Ive automated workers, automate explore, set governor on etc. and it seems to be doing well for me. But i know for some of the more experienced players out there, they enjoy to do them manually. Which do you prefer? what are the ups in doing so?

    How'd this happen?

I actually traded with most civs in the early game and got a lot of goody huts which gave me the advantage in screenshot#1. I dont know how i got kicked off in the 'trade loop' but later on, it seems no one is willing to trade with me and more so, it seemed they do research faster than my civ...

    How'd this happen?

How did this happen? One minute i was the most advanced civ.... The next, they overtaken me in research... is the AI cheating? do they trade too much? what did i do wrong? here's a save so some of you can see...

    Way behind tech

Im abandoning the game, it just seemed hopeless:blush: well, here's the save. Hope some of you can figure out what i did wrong or missed...

    Favorite Civilization Attribute?

Industrious - I dont think its cheating i think it cancels out the advantages of other civs. An industrious civ might not be as advanced as a scientific one but it compensates for the growth of the Industrious civ. I just love how workers rush off into resources twice the speed of a normal one...
