I thought I had an easy win.

Yup :( I was playing as Mongolia and I took out the other 3 civs on my continent. Saladin was on the other continent; he built the AP and had Hinduism as his state religion. I could not do anything since Hinduism did not spread to any of my cities. I think my problem was poor planning after...

    Google Goes Against Net Neutrality

There is no way that is going to happen without Net Neutrality. Broadband companies will charge websites for faster loading speeds, which will severely hurt the efforts of anyone trying to make the next Google.

    Google Goes Against Net Neutrality

If this agreement comes anywhere close to becoming law, it will be a disaster for Internet freedom. Google will keep search and email free but will abuse it to improve its own position. Google can decide one day that it will not include any pages on this site on its search unless the site's...

Monarch game for shadowing, criticism, commentary, or general mocking

Played until 1200AD IMO, Isabella is a great leader for a Renaissance war because she can easily get 10XP siege without using Great Generals. Demographics My Empire My plan is to attack Boudica or Darius using a combination of CR3 and Accuracy Trebuchets combined with Rifles. [/SPOILER]

Late game war against stronger enemy

I managed to trade for some health/happiness resources and get my city populations up. As I was doing so, I beelined computers and built the Internet, allowing me to achieve tech parity. I then decided to build nukes and attack Zara. I fought a defensive war while constantly nuking Zara, and I...

Disturbed1's first Prince Game - Critique Me!

I have found an SE easy to manage. Just simply build farms and use the extra food to run scientist specialists. But yes you are right, there is a fair amount of micromanagement involved If you are not running a pure SE, I'd forget about pyramids.
