Hello and much obliged! My other obsession was Trajan's Rome, trying to take over every single province in the historically accurate chronological order.

As far as the masterclass , do you want me to post the opening moves, as some kind of guide to that challenge? I don't really do anything tricky, actually, simply keep the list of states with the admission dates and largest cities in front of me the whole time and my next steps are guided by the list.

well I noticed you had reached historical victory as well so If you could outline your UHV strategy that would be cool

It is actually possible to use initial start-up gold and Settlers to set up original 13 colonies from the get go. In no way it is the optimal American strategy: building cottages on Cows is a very crazy move. But USA land is so bountiful and drive to the West is largely unopposed, so it is possible to win without those pastures.

As you can see I am building a Palace in New York, my little dirty secret. Back then Bureaucracy was not nerfed, like in the latest update, so I milked it until I had all my NYC wonders and then switched back to Washington for pretty screenshots :yeah:.

Perhaps you should replace 1.17 with 1.18 in your thread. 🙂 1.18 is a reference to the new Map!

I’ve been playing the old map cause it’s more balanced, and I like the dynamic city names
