Albatros G.II ip 2016-10-05

First version of the 1916 Albatros G.II prototype by Albatros Flugzeugwerke of Johannisthal, Berlin, powered by two 165 hp Benz Bz III engines. One unit built. Subsequent improvements led to an improved prototype of which a few units were built, after which a limited production batch of the more powerful Albatros G.III tactical bomber biplane was produced.
