Does anyone one know a way to set a limit for the game engine, so that it uses e.g. a maximum amount of 3 GB VRAM? My gpu has faulty VRAM, as long as i stay below ca. 3,5 GB it still works fine. That way i can avoid buying an overpriced gpu right now. And obviously, i am already on lowest...

Which graphics card is needed to play Civ VI on lowest settings, except strategic view? I am thinking at the ones available at e*** right now, used. I need to buy a new one and want to spend as few as possible, considering the scalped prices.

I bought an eGPU to help out my late 2013 macbook, but it is not selectable in Civ. I only see my old native GPU. Other games use the eGPU, but Civ 6 can't read it. Does anyone know how to force Civ to use the eGPU? I have 'Prefer External GPU' checked in the Get Info screen. Thanks!
