Where are the downloaded mods kept? One of them is in the mods folder but the others seem to be somewhere else. Where are they!?

Embarrassing to ask this but I can't figure out how to get the downloaded maps that I have gotten from Civ Fanatics to launch in BTS when I start it. Working with a Mac running OS Sierra.

Can you believe this? 7 flood plains, 2 cows, 2 elephants, 6 forest and 3 hills. I mined the hills and managed to pop Silver and Gold over the course of the game.

Just look at how horrible it is.
