    Cortez the Conqueror

Recently watched the Aztec history video from Thoughty2 and got inspired. (Didn't there used to be a thread for leaders? Oh wait, this is Civ 7 board. That's fine, sorry I've just been away for a long time. Feel free to move this if you want.) Or fill up this thread with other leader ideas...

    Retreat and Reinforce

The length of a turn is never less then a season, and that is only on marathon at the very end of the game. Most turns are 5-20 years. I get why unit movement has to scale the way it does, but lets be realistic here: when you start a war it doesn't take hundreds of years to reach a nearby city...

    [GS] Grievances Guide

Grievances Guide Work in progress (need your help !) There are still a few unknowns: 1. There is an unknown variable in the value of cities during conquest (see cities section) 2. Nukes ? 3. impact of grievances on loyalty of occupied cities I will keep this guide updated as things are figured...

    Warmongering now?

Hi, I just got Rise and Fall. How the heck do you do warmongering now with the Loyalty stuff? I capture a city and it's in rebellion soon no matter what I do. How do I get it to stay loyal? This loyalty stuff is really annoying. I like wiping out other Civs until I'm the last one standing. Thanks.

    Warring overpowered?

Ever since i started playing vox populi and tried authority for the first time and won, i have found it to be the best and easiest way to win in vox populi. Especially on higher difficulties i feel it really shines. I may be wrong though but these are some of my thoughts. First of all the AI in...

    [BNW] Egregious Warmonger Penalty

I'm currently playing with YnaEMP, 34 civs, some other mods but none changes diplomacy (maybe the Make Spies Great Again Mod, but I dont think it's related to War Penalty). Already met the whole world, and got into the chain of DoFs that has been going on between AIs, resulting in lots of DoFs...

Thoughts on Civ 6 from a Civ 1 Player

Hi all, I have to agree that with that Civ 6 just might be the worst Civ game ever created. I have been playing Civilization since it first came out on the SNES. I was around 8 years old at the time. I have played every Civilization game when they come out and have been hooked on every single...

Warmongering and diplomacy - can they be compatible

HI all, Sorry if this reads a bit poor I have just completed a game and it is 4am local time. I have not played civ properly for a few years (didn't like Civ5) but have been enjoying Civ6 since I got it in the summer sale. Only played about 8 games through at the higher difficulties (although...

Civ 6 is all about war-mongering and potential fix to balance.

I enjoy the new format and changes in CIV 6. And I believe CIV 6 is tantalizing close to being the best CIV by far. Unfortunately, every difficult decision is currently best resolved by warmongering. Since, warmongering is the de facto resolution, all the the other intricacies can be...
