I was unable to move artefacts from London to one of my cities. (But it could be that I've been playing Civ VI on the Switch rather than the PC for more than a year now so I just might be out of touch).

Do you have heroes mode on? Sometimes that causes this sort of problem if your archaeologist sends a heroic relic to an archaeological museum that is already full (although that may have been fixed yesterday's patch?)

Did you try to move them between two completely filled museums?

No. I tried to move it from a full to an empty. Is that not allowed?

No heroes mode. Just Monopolies & Corporations.

Yes, there is a restriction that you can only move artifacts between full museums.
