I thought I'd tread this incase anyone wanted to open up, I played on every level up until King last night with a new strategy. I worked out a system that worked a domination victory in about the first 10-20 turns progressively wanted to know if anyone wanted to share.
 
Why don´t you tell us about the strategy instead of just telling us that you have one.

Basically rush horseback riding and march on your neighbors as quickly as possible. It's helpful to use the aztecs because they heal immediately after battle.
 
I am not cranky, just read your thread and understood you had a great system of a kind, but after asking it was obviously only about rushing horseback riding. I kind of knew about that already, I just thought you had something interesting to tell us since you went through the trouble of starting a thread. But you didn´t.

Enough said.

I think you can only pull this off as the Chinese, Indians or Greeks, since it takes 5 turns to complete HR from the get go and then 5 turns to produce the first horseman. The Chinese, Indians and Greeks produce their first on their 7th turn (3x6s + 1x2s+2x2p + 3x6p).

I've tried this once with another civ and I couldn't find barbarian villages anymore. Perhaps I was unlucky.

Perhaps the above should have been the opening thread.(omitting the douche part naturally) I too was under the impression you had a strat, and you were inquiring whether people wanted you to share it.

Okay, that out of the way, let's continue. Personally, I find my Gotw playing style doesn't work well with Single player or Multi-player mode. (I actually tried using regular mode as practice for Gotw) For single player, it may just be because I'm looking for a regular, or longer game. Also the combat odds are stacked differently, and Ai's seem more spread out. I simply cannot use the same strats, or I just haven't tried them enough.
I can say, it's better to rush or build a warrior unit first in any case. This serves as scout, gold collector, and barb pillager, while tech building.
If I did try to pursue a quick win in Single player using the same quick win tacticis, I'd choose Mao, for the extra pop, or Zulu for the extra warrior space move since I have the choice.

In multiplayer, well, people just aren't as dimwitted as the Ai. Only the Ai 's would let you walk into a city unopposed. My rush attempts a month ago went okay, occasionally catching some playere ill prepared to defend. Now, people are more prepared, and beginning rushes are better served against an Ai, or as complete gambles. I don't play enough Multi-player to really say.

Wow, you are a very unpleasant person. I have to say I had the same reaction as he posted since I too did not bother to search for every other thread you have ever posted in. Silly me, I assumed based on the thread title that the opening post might have some information.

Now I know I'll just skip your threads. See You Next Tuesday.
