I'm looking to get about 100 random map starts together to hold a competition in. It'll run sorta like GOTM, except you'll have to run through the games really quickly and the goal is to get as many victories as possible out of all of the games, with different awards for different categories, like Most 100k wins and stuff like that.

Now, I say 100 maps although I'm not planning on there being 100 games to play. The final package will probably be something like 25 games, to be played out over a 4 month period(that's about a game every 4-5 days).

The games can be any difficulty Regent or higher. Maybe 1-2 warlord games, not sure yet(we'll see what we get here). Any map settings, any civs, etc., as long as it's all set up in the actual game itself. No editor, Default Rules. HOWEVER, in the final package there will only be 1 Huge and 2 Large maps. The games need to be playable quickly, and there'll be about an even distribution of Medium and Small maps, and less than 5 Tiny maps.

However, I'm not just looking for any old games. I'm looking for Great Games. Something special, interesting about the map, or maybe it could just be one that played out fairly interestingly. Take for example the map attached: Persia, on a Large All-Random map. (If I remember correctly it was continents.) Difficulty is Emperor. Now, the start doesn't look all that appetizing, but once you start playing it becomes rather interesting. This was also my first Emperor win(space race in the mid 1500's).

(I was originally planning on starting this thread as post #500(pathetic for being here over 2 years, but hey, I've got a life outside of civ) but surpassed that by accident last night.)

The competition's not going to be too heavily moderated; it's mostly for fun and to play some Great Games, but we'll go by the honor system with regards to cheating/exploits/etc. Also, the games must be Vanilla starts, so everyone can take part in this.

 Got it.

EDIT: It seems that the folder is empty.

EDIT2: Maybe have it not be zipped?

I think the zip file is corrupted. When I opended it, nothing extracted.

I'm using an extremely buggy version of WinZip, that's why I tried to upload a RAR first but it wouldn't let me.

I guess everyone's playing PTW or Conquests now, so no one's playing Vanilla games anymore. Well, if you've still got any 4000 BC saves sitting around, see if you've got any good ones.
