As with Civ 4, I'm pretty disappointed they didn't bother to support netbook resolution - especially with the proliferation of netbooks with integrated gaming GPUs this year. (Dual Core Atom w/Ion 2 & Athlon II K125 w/ ATI HD4225)
Every game I've tried out on this machine has supported 1024x600 - the exceptions being Civ 4 and now Civ 5.
The sad thing is that it runs pretty well, sans load times, on an external monitor at 1024x768. This is at the lowest graphic settings and standard map size.
I hope in a future patch, that native netbook resolution will be supported...
