Voting Instructions
Players, please cast your votes in the poll above. Vote "Yea" if you'd be okay if this proposal was implemented. Vote "Nay" if you'd be okay if this proposal wasn't implemented.
You can vote for both options, which is equivalent to saying "I'm fine either way", but adds to the required quorum of 10 votes in favor.
All votes are public. If you wish, you can discuss your choice(s) in the thread below. You can change your vote as many times as you want until the poll closes.
VP Congress: Session 3, Proposal 17
Proposal:
Assyria's UB (Royal Library) generates the same 2 Great Scientist Points as the School of Philosophy.
Rationale:
Assyria's UB currently generates one less Great Scientist Point than the national wonder it replaces. Which is weird for a civ that has a strong science flavor; no tradeoff is mentioned anywhere in its civilopedia text, and it isn't reasonable to think that one less GPP is intended to somehow counterbalance the large amount of special traits it has.
It is a minor thing on this civ, but one that feels bothersome to see for not having any clear purpose to be there; maybe it was just a buff to the School of Philosophy that someone forgot to apply to the Royal Library back then.
