3d Analyze / Civ 4

Hi

Has anyone had any success getting Civ 4 to run through 3dAnalyze. I have used the program in the past to get games that require pixel shader to run on my system, but Civ4 doesn't seem to run through the program, it's process ends nearly instantly.

If I could get this combo to work I believe it would solve the black land bug, at a cost of some performance. 3dAnalyse can force software emulation of Pixel Shader and T&L.

I'm using a Radeon M6 (based on 7200 I think. it supports T&L, but not Pixel Shader), and I've gotten Lego Star Wars and other Pixel Shader requiring games using 3dAnalyse.
 
Hey,were I can get this prog.If I understood you good,it starts games that REQUIRE pixel shaders on a graph that doesnt support them?
Sure could use it since I'm on GF4mx440,dont have pixel support!
 
true..I also have seen people dumbing down from v2.0 to v1.0 pixel shader to get around some of the bugs...I think perhaps the black terrain issue.

and...not sure but some games I couldn't initialize because pixel-shaders,so...
