Welcome to game 152 in the 6OTM Series! These games will allow new and old GOTM fans to try out the new features in Civ6 in a friendly environment. Participants are encouraged to post questions, stories, advice, tricks and failures in the dedicated game threads (described below). Each game will specify the Civ you will play and the Victory Condition to strive for. We will be working to refine the 6otM concept as we move ahead with the series. Gifting of cities is an exploit in a religious VC as the AI cant see that it will lose if it accepts the cities.

Must Read!
We would like to ask you to abide by our most sacred rule: Don’t replay any turns! If you make a mistake, accept it and try to recover. To ensure fair play and prevent results exclusions, please set your Autosaves to 1 turn. In the event of a computer crash while playing, just reload to the previous save and play it as closely to how you played it the first time. Please let Leif know (via Conversation (Private Message)) if you experienced a crash and how many turns you replayed.

Ain't no party like a Catherine (Magnificence) Party!! If you haven't played Magnificence, take a look at Court Festivals projects. A completely different way for a potentially very, very fast cultural victory.

Wow!! Awesome :) I'll see if you system can handle a huge map.

Curious when the new leaders will be incorporated in the Game of the Month cycle?

They will. I've been holding off to ensure they can work for everyone. Right now believe there is still an issue with Leaders of China and Macs.

Nice game config Eyswein. I wonder if the bottleneck will be meeting all Civs in time. SIP to keep R2 chops, if Jade was on a hill possibly would consider moving. Going to aim for a massive Settler production. Religion would be nice to float builders. Not sure if reliquaries can be considered on King difficulty nor if it will be help for a faster win?. Aiming to take out 2-4 neighboring Civs for land and luxes. Will try to prevent targeted neighbors from ever settling. Not sure how cost scaling for the project works here, will it resolve sequentially just like a Settler does? i.e. finishing multiple projects in multiple cities on the same turn will scale the cost regardless? Hong Kong and Buenos Aires will be crucial here, hope you added them :), if not will try converting barb camps.

Technically you don't have to meet them all, but if you don't meet them then you don't get their tourism, so really about meeting enough of them.

Court Festival projects scale based upon your science/culture advancements - the more techs/civics you have discovered the more the projects cost (similar to district cost rate increases).

Thanks. Yeah exactly, but I was wondering in addition to the base cost scale via tech/policies, each subsequent project completion will also increase the cost by .. (how much?)

That (tech/policy advancement) is the only increase in production scale. You can build as many as you want at the same tech/policies level for the same cost.

Haven't played with Catherine de Medici yet, will give this one a go.

The warrior will move south, and then I will probably settle either NE (better immediate growth, deer production for the first tile to acquire) or E (+1 "free" culture, production instead of food, but can grow into food quicker with the culture, turn 2 settle). Haven't decided yet.

With her "Grand Tour" ability, the projects and the king difficulty I wonder if I should try for a culture victory without any religion/faith at all. No national parks and no rock bands. Might be a nice challenge.

Game Mode(s): Duplicate Leaders and Civilizations
oh boy. :hammer2:
