Welcome to game 178 in the 6OTM Series! These games will allow new and old GOTM fans to try out the new features in Civ6 in a friendly environment. Participants are encouraged to post questions, stories, advice, tricks and failures in the dedicated game threads (described below). Each game will specify the Civ you will play and the Victory Condition to strive for. We will be working to refine the 6otM concept as we move ahead with the series. Gifting of cities is an exploit in a religious VC as the AI cant see that it will lose if it accepts the cities.

Must Read!
We would like to ask you to abide by our most sacred rule: Don’t replay any turns! If you make a mistake, accept it and try to recover. To ensure fair play and prevent results exclusions, please set your Autosaves to 1 turn. In the event of a computer crash while playing, just reload to the previous save and play it as closely to how you played it the first time. Please let Leif know (via Conversation (Private Message)) if you experienced a crash and how many turns you replayed.

Game Requirements: vanilla version of Civilization VI with Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions. All pre-NFP & NFP DLCs are required. New Leader Pass required.

Mansa Musa – Mali Unique Attributes:
Spoiler Unique Attributes :
Leader Bonus: Sahel Merchants – International Trade Routes gain +1 Gold for every flat Desert tile in the sending city. Entering a Golden Age permanently grants +1 Trade Route capacity.

Civ Ability: Songs of the Jeli – City Centers gain +1 Faith and +1 Food for every adjacent Desert and Desert Hills tile. Mines receive -1 Production and +4 Gold. May purchase Commercial Hub buildings with Faith. -30% Production towards buildings and units.

Unique Unit: Mandekalu Cavalry – Replaces Knight, Unlocked by Stirrups; requires Iron
Common abilities: Ignores enemy zone of control.
Special abilities: Prevents friendly Traders within 4 tiles from being plundered as long as they are on a land tile. Provides Gold equal to 100% of the base Strength Combat Strength of each defeated enemy unit.
Special traits: Higher Strength Combat Strength (55 vs. 50).

Unique Infrastructure: Suguba – Replaces: Commercial Hub; Unlocked by Currency
Effects: Lower Production cost (27 vs. 54). Major bonus (+2 Gold) for a nearby River or Holy Site. Major bonus (+2 Gold) for each adjacent Pamukkale tile. Minor bonus (+½Gold) for each nearby District. 20% discount on all Gold and Faith purchases in this city. +1 Great Merchant point per turn. Specialists add +4 Gold each.

The game will not be closed as such, but after one month, the results will be compiled, and will not necessarily be updated with reports coming in after the finish date.

That's a Petra city if I ever saw one. A few generic questions:
1) Mali's -30% prod towards units, does that include civilian units like builders, traders and settlers?
2) Mali's -30% prod towards buildings, does that include wonders and districts?
3) Highland map is generally a single continent without oceans right?
