77x72 (large) 'different' bare earth

here is a 77x72 bare earth map: height, terrain, features and rivers only

it's a bit based off a cordiform projection i worked on for civ4 but never got around to resizing it down. now it's just a bit larger than standard size so plays nice and fast

resized map to standard size

cut off south pole, undistorted australia (within limits), streamlined phillippines and indonesia, enlarged pacific a bit, and all that with only 2-3 tiles out of south america and africa!

the map is available as a 18 civ scenario at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=392302 (just open that map in worldbuilder and use scale to create a bare clean version of it)

I think it is a good map to simulate modern gameplay (except for australia)
