Well played @pmarc ! I did not know about the Erdene Zuu cultural gift on age transition of the cavalry units, gonna make a note of that as it is amazing, especially in a game like this. Your Exploration was particularly impressive, will try to download your save and see what you did.

I abandoned my game at about 50% of the Modern Age, as deity was simply too much for me and it was getting more aggravating than fun. But I did learn a lot and improve my gameplay, I think.

Yes, you can only load a game if you have all the DLCs used to create it (it makes sense from a business PoV as otherwise people could play with DLCs without purchasing it, and even from a technical PoV as some assets might be absent from your install when you don't have the DLC). The original save is created with DLCs disabled so everyone can play it but as soon as someone plays it with DLCs enabled, their saves become DLC saves. Previous titles had it so when you load a save created without DLCs they were automatically disabled and you couldn't use that content in your game but Civ7 does it in a different way which has pros and cons, as often

Oh, wow. That is interesting and weird. Of note, I've been able to create games with Mementos others haven't opened yet and they could still play with those mementos. Have to see what occurs with additional patches.
