hi.. im new 2 this forum, but not new to this game.. the influence of this game on me is inexplicable.. i have massive rispek 4 all da people that made this game and its xpansion.. and now wit some questions:
1. can you still buy the xpansion for AC somewhere??
2. where are the updates for AC (not the xpansion)
3. is there an official site 4 ac, the one on the firaxis site was down..soooo
4. happy new year!
5. have you noticed the little text files that give some info bout the masses of the moons and stuff?? that is wicked!
6. do you listen to drumnbass (offtopic, i know,, sorry)
7. i would put that game in my ready to fly to another world with my laptop box, along with morrowind and some otherz.
8. would ac work on my brand new xp laptop (not yet bought ufcourse?)
9. would the creators of this game ever be aknowledged for their contribution not only to the gaming world but to the humanity itself??

1)The best place to buy the expansion is on ebay. It should be relatively cheap, that's where I bought mine (the expansion, that is), but I bought mine over three years ago.
2) Go to the evil apolyton for the only patch.

its quite sad that its hard to find... maybe they should bundle it with another game and sell it like that.. i mean.. WHY DID THEY STOP SELLING IT????
now im getting ready to make some money so i can buy the books...

MY ORIGINAL ALPHA CENTAURI DOESENT WOOORK... it shows up the blue screen of death after i enter the game and start playin.. it says somekind of violation..smthn with read only... i made all the files not read only i upgraded the game to the newest version

i have XP pro , I had home editiond before, and SMAC worked perfectly without any problems on both, something must be wrong with your computer...
