A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that a California woman whose doctor says marijuana is the only medicine keeping her alive is not immune from federal prosecution on drug charges.

But looky here, on the same day:

A state judge in California Wednesday dropped the charges against ex-Hewlett-Packard chair Patricia Dunn, who was accused of wire fraud in the company's boardroom spying scandal.

So one is merely smoking pot to alleviate pain.... PROSECUTION!!!!

One is rich, and spied illegally on her employees, but has pain... ahh, let her go.

BOGUS!!!

The person in case one forgot to keep the Judges properly supplied while the person in case two knows a thing or two about getting unethically to a suitable resolution.

Plus the person in case two, as the head of a prosperous corporation, has given large benefits to the community, and thus can be excused a little felonious behaviour.
