Hey so I watched the latest part 2 Dune Movie recently, so wanted to play this. Used google docs and have translated into English most things you'll want to access in-game - units, buildings, diplomacy, worker actions etc. and have relabled the Biq where necessary. All a bit fiddly but not too hard in the end (just tedious). I'd put my original download in scenarios instead of conquests, so found a few vanilla units missing. They're attached as well, though I swapped the Atom U-boat (Sandworm) for Tom2050s excellent unit.

Yes I did, there were only three units in there and most of them are just recolors of original Firaxis units such as Mobile Sam.

You need to download the main scenario file for the units - post 1, from Blake00.

Yes Rathvilly's addon isn't going to help him much Civinator.

To reduce confusion I've modified my OP to make Ghaldak's original German Dune scenario download more obvious and also mention & link to both my Desert graphics addon and Rathvilly's English translation & better sandworm addon downloads later in the thread.

Thanks, I found the mod anyway. This will be useful because the mod uses it's own Civilopedia icons rather than the units' ones.

Finally got around to testing @Rathvilly 's english update. This is great!

Although the last 3 sentences of the intro text seems to be option buttons. So I went into the Script.txt file, found the 'DAWN_OF_SCENARIO' area and removed the empty lines between the sentences and that seemed to solve the issue.



Also realized this scenario needs a title image so might quickly go whip up one!
EDIT: Here we go.. similar to my terrain addon have attached a 7zip file to the bottom of this post with the title images in it for people to add to their copy of mod.



Oh and lastly it might interest folks to know I'm finishing up work on a total conversion Dune 2 scenario for Civilization 2 using authentic retro Dune 1 & Dune 2 graphics that was partly inspired by Ghaldak's work in this Civ3 scenario.
