I just noticed something that could easily happen and there is nothing in the laws to defend against it. As far as I know, people can serve out most of the term as an official, then resign on the last possible day so they can run for two positions. I think we should make an amendment that makes this illegal that should go something like:

COS.G.6.B.3:
If a citizen is elected or appointed to any Leader position in any election cycle, then you may only run for one position in the following election.

I agree. There should be a rule to prevent this sneeky dead. But we can have the rule say that "An incumbent leader may not resign his position 2 Weeks before and during nomination period to be eligible to run for two positions."

I agree it is a loophole, but I also hope that citizens would hold such behavior in the lowest regard possible.

Wouldn't a simple solution read..."If your are elected to any Leader position in any election cycle, than you may only run for one position in the following election."

That is a good idea Cyc, although it could be expanded to include appointments, so people in my position where I have been appointed two terms in a row could not exploit this loophole.
I have changed the proposed amendment above.

I guess I just never saw that.. I always thought it meant the entire month...

Perhaps we should also close the loophole that allowed Shaitan to run for President, even though he had been made Deputy Governor with 5 days remaining in the term. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't be a three term vice president...
