It seems that Tom Cruise might be the leading actor in Del Toro's film "At the mountains of Madness", which is an adaptation of the novella by HP Lovecraft.

However the producer wants another actor and not Cruise, so it is not yet certain what will happen.

At any rate i anticipate this film, and hope it is good. I do not dislike Cruise's acting, and don't care for his life at all so i wouldnt mind seeing him as the lead here.

Tom Cruise ruins everything. He already ruined War of the Worlds, and Von Stauffenberg do we want him to wreck another classic too?

I'm gonna have to read the story now. I'll report back with my opinion on an appropriate alternative to Cruise.

But we all know Cruise can get into character, he's just gotta imagine Lord Xenu and BANG, in character (as far as I can guess based on the very short plot synopsis given in the video).
