Lieuntenant General Lewis B. "Chesty" Puller as a military advisor.

Mabey even alter what he says, to something more chesty like:evil:

Thanks for the link Wyrmshadow.
Some quotes:
At Koto-Ri in Korea, when an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col. Puller called his tank commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them." Turning to the captain, he replied, "Does that answer your question? We're here to fight."
"We’re surrounded. That simplifies our problem of getting to these people and killing them"

Not sure I follow where your going with this. Are you requesting it or are you going to attempt to create it. Either way you have my support.

A request I guess; I was trying to see how much intrest there is for it. I don't have the skill to even think of trying to do it, Chesty Is way to important for me to bungle up.

Marines are not my kind, The Army is, Ill be going to BCT at Fort Jackson SC, next summer. so make Omar Bradley, or better yet, a brave Hero, not a general, but the most decorated soldier of WWII, LT.Audie Murphy.

It is kind of out of my league as well. I'm not artistic enough to create it from scratch and I dont think there is enough image material on the net to pull off a cut and paste. I'll back your request though...:D

Come on, be one of the few, the proud... besides our dress uniforms look better.:mischief: But if thats what you want go for it, I'll still think of you as family, just more like an in-law.

I'll dig up as much as I can, I have both books on Chesty; there are some pics in them:D

Yeah, I agree, the marines dress uniform is better, but when it comes down to it, Both the Army and Marines Kick alot of a's, besides we can still laugh at the Coast guard, but not the Navy, they have some big Guns that give us support and take out big and small targets. but im still joining the Army next year.

BTW: check out the link, Chesty is the most decorated Marine ever, and a mustang (started as enlisted).

well, I would like to have LT.Audie Murphy, presuming you know what he did, which you probably do or can find out from Wikipedia, I admire him.

You'd better not laugh at the Navy  Especially since the Marines need us to get where they're going (I helped ship a couple thousand to Iraq in '04).....

So says a 2nd Class PO (USNIRR). :D

And I also vote for a Chesty Puller Advisor... That guy rocked!

I don't laugh at any of the services, mabey little pokeing, but only in a good light hearted way. BTW, way I may have been one of the Marines you took there, can't remeber what ship I was on at that time.

Roman Legion, you do realize that Chesty has 52! Decorations don't you? Including 5 Navy Crosses, one step below the CMH.:D Chesty began his Marine Career as a private. So dissing him for being a general is a bit wrong. The man DESERVED every promotion and decoration he earned. He was not a behind the lines commander, he was on the line with his troops.:)

My favorite 'Chestyism' is;

"Take me to the brig, I want to see the real Marines." ;)
Saepius Exertus, Semper Fidelis, Frater Infinitas.
