A very quick Usurper Conquest

I just got back from playing a Standard Map on Citizen Difficulty (yay me for being a wimp!) where I finished my game in under an hour.

I played the the Usurpers and throughout the game, I stumbled upon a boatload of Unity Rovers. Using my only Unity Foil, I managed to upgrade these rovers into Killing Machines and conquer everyone

I think it's my quickest game yet, even if I did reload and load whenever I got a bad pod outcome. Hey! I didn't like mind worm infested pods or earthquakes or fungal blooms.
The rovers came by luck, but I did prefer techs or money, but the rovers served nicely in winning.

The map was 50-70% water, so the conquest would have been faster if I didn't cross a body of water. I upgraded my foil a bit too late as I had won (plus most of the factions were on another continent)

Yeah the believers and the userpers were so powerful with their +25% attack, since the game already is configured to favour offense over defense

The hardest part of the battle was the Caretakers. They had 3-res armour and I had Lasers (no impacters yet)

Luckily though, my Rovers were Elite in rank (It started off with them as Veteran, but dimensional rifts cloned them and then they went over an Upgrade Station) and there were Upgrade Monoliths near to the Caretaker cities. I like it how a unit is fully healed after conquering a city
