I just wanted to say here that I am very grateful to those who mod. this is a great game - but you have pushed it beyond great. Your scenarios, mods, maps, and new civilizations are impressive. Anyone who complains about something missing from this game needs to check out what these grand people have done. From the SmartMap mod which really randomizes maps to The First People and Gold Civilization packs to Trips WWI scenario and on there is excellent work to be found there.
And a word on criticism of these people or the game itself: If you can do a better job go ahead and complain, if not then don't complain. Also if you can do a better job lets see some mods from you.
I started this thread to point out to those who may be unaware that there is more to this game than whats in the box and patches. Check it out. Also I just named those I like the best..the rest are very good too - I didn't want to go on and on listing them. My next 2 scenarios to play will be Trips battle for east asia and Foundations of Empire(sorry I forgot who did that one - played a little and it looks very well done). (Gordon Farrell - I believe)
