K, I read about abandoning your palace and I realize the strategic use of this and so I tried to abandon that palace of mine but there I got stuck; I have NO IDEA how to abandon that palace..:(

Anyone can help me with this?

Thanks!!

Right click on your city, a menu should pop up. On the menu you will have the option to "Abandon City", answer yes, and the city is abandoned.

Thats an even better tip! Gonna try that out in my next game; right now I'm trying to keep my 'empire' intact at emperor level which is no mean feat when your surrounded by 4 civs who all got a bad attitude!

You need v1.21 to get the abandon city option.

To sell an improvement right click on it in the improvements list and click 'sell'.

What are these strategic advantages. Do you mean about waste and corruption?

Yes, I like to have my palace where it reduces waste/corruption in as many surrounding cities as possible; if I have my palace in the centre of my empire and not on the edge of my empire then my palace will keep waste/corruption lower in more cities. Sometimes when building your empire it isn't possible to keep your capitol in the centre of your empire and if abandoning my palace can help me correct this then I'm all for it..:)
