About the bombardment-bug

I'm sure you all know about the bombardment-bug by using the
"B"-key, but I never heard anyone about using this with other units. It works with every key-command.........
I can land a paratrooper anywhere...... . Didn't need it though..
Is this old news or is everyone playing with a patch? Let me know
