Age of Imperialism -style Mod ?

Is there a Mod for Civ IV that would have a sort of colonial power / British Empire -style stuff going on, like Age of Imperialism Mod was in Civ III ?

Probably is a mod - check out the custom mod section of the forum.

Have you played Civ Colonization? it is pretty cool for the colonial power style games. Seperate game though so get out your wallet!

I was wondering the same thing. There are a few colonialism mods but these are normally just with North and South America. I want the whole world to take over. Kind of like the later half of RFC, only I don't have to play for a few hours before.

You can check out "Pride of Nations" by AEGOD.

It runs from 1850 to 1920, great atmosphere, and exactly what you're looking for.

The only problem however is that it looks ridiculously complicated, and the company does not make decent in game tutorials. You pretty much need to read the manual to play the game. I may get around to learning the game from the free dem in about a year or so.....
