Hi, I have not tried this mod yet. But I would like to know, if there is anything related to AI in this mod, or how good it is.

Also I would like to ask, how much longer is game compared to BTS on normal speed and is this mod working fine in MP?

There is many great mods on the boards, and alot of them goes way over the top with alot of stuff. And I personally prefer something extented over BTS but well putted together, balanced and working. So I got interested in this mod, as its one of the last "normal" ones which still get updated.

Deciding between History Rewritten or K-Mod. I like all the stuff about History Rewritten but seems like K-Mod got good AI which is very important for me too :-). Some kind of merge would be awesome :blush:

As HR is designed to support Macs as well as PCs, it doesn't have a custom DLL which unfortunately limits AI modding considerably. That said, I've been careful to design HR with the limitations of the AI in mind, with some minor tweaking wherever possible.

Normal speed games in HR are 600 turns compared to the 500 in BTS. Each era should be similar in length (~100 turns), though this will vary with difficulty settings of course. The tech tree is designed in a way that prevents rushing through eras too quickly (though in the current version it's a little too 'tight', and will be relaxed a little for the next).

and is this mod working fine in MP?

It works fine in multiplayer. The only issue I know of is an incompatibility with crossplatform multiplayer (Mac <--> Windows). I'm working to fix this for the next version (1.19).

Yeah, a lot of mods go for the 'kitchen sink' approach, adding features and content in just because they can. My goal for HR is expanded, flavourful content while ensuring it remains streamlined and balanced.

I'm not that familiar with K-Mod but I know its based on the Better AI mod, which, due to the aforementioned DLL limitation, HR is unable to incorporate most of. It's probably your best bet if you're looking for significant AI improvements. Although a merge isn't possible, I do plan to take a look through K-Mod soon and see what features are possible to borrow.
