What would you choose is the best way to stop the human player from beelining for set

The poll did not show what I meant for the question.
The question should be,"What can we do to make it so the human doesn't beeline for settlers and own half the map."


Personally, I would like to see all of these ideas implemented, but since this is a community project I wanted to see what the community wanted.
 
I personally would like settlers and laborers to have 1 movement, and give settlers +1 movement later on. Also, the cost of them should be increased to stop mass colonization in the Pre-Historic era. Each city should give -4 to -6 happiness to balance that out as well. Those are just my suggestions!

The Pre-Historic Era is very fun to play with each starting location determining what techs you research! I rarely play as a Nomad however, maybe something could be done to buff it? Maybe a later policy could give free horses and +1-2 production on horses/cattle/sheep?
