Alien Crossfire loading

I'm having a problem, getting beyond the movie file download for crossfire. running xp, alpha centauri loaded with no problem.

I don't understand. Are you saying that when you try to run Crossfire; the movie plays and then it quits?

Does it tell you that your CPU is not supported? If so, go into the .ini file in your Alpha Centauri folder and change ForceVoxelAlgorithm=0 to ForceVoxelAlgorithm=1. It will then work.

when I try to install crossfire, it hangs up at the movie files.

haven't been able to install crossfire. have already changed algorithm in alpha centauri
