Now Listen to me my wise fellows, Don't let your Trade Advisor tell you stuff about my Civ, if you do, your going to be Ripped Off, and if you can't figure out how I'm going to do it yet then you deserve to be Ripped Off, Please use the smarter method.

Now lets get down to Brass Tax here, I love Firaxis and all there good buddies, but I’m going to exploit ever corner of Civ3, and I’m going to publish how exactly to win at Civ3 and out-smart anybody else in any league Period. I’m sorry to say that Firaxis didn’t want my services, and that they made a money deal with someone that has NO earthly idea how to play any Civilization game, but it is their lose and probably your break into the GM’s of Civ3. You may not win every game in the first 3 months of release but once you get your hands on my guide you will win every single game against Non-CivFan Players, because what I am going to give to you is a Complete Guide, with all the cheats that they missed, all the Numbers that they didn’t see, and All the best Strats for All Nationalities. And it’s coming from you CIVFAN and overall FOR YOU!

NO Duke, my job is to Post the guide, it'll be you, and the rest of the Civilization fanatics to write it....so how soon can you get your hands on a copy of Civ3?...
I will cover the Intro, the Russians and Part of the Japanese.... All the rest is up to you, You give to me and I will Explain it to everyone else, in the name of CIVFAN.... But the number of people who are playing this game will be expansive, so Play With Haste, and report to me to get you quote in the BOOK!!!!

If someone has to buy a dammed stratagy guide for a STRATAGY GAME then they must be the biggest F****** Morons in the world!

I mean dosen't that take away from the game.
YA KNOW THAT OLD CONCEPT OF FIGURING THINGS OUT ON YOUR OWN!!!!
The Idea of statagy games is to have someone come up with there own stratagy not use some overused watered down stratagy that makes the game repetitive.

Using a strategy guide to plan and implement your whole game is akin to letting someone else play the game for you.

However, this does not mean that strategy tips, discussions, etc... like these formus offer are not helpful. It is still up to the player to play the game.

This is why I never buy or read those exhaustive strategy guides, but do like the CFC forums.

But then I don't play to be the best (I'm definately not even close to the best). I just play because it's fun to play, win or loose.
