Ally not going to war when attacked

I was allied with:
-India (economic)
-Greece (research)
Brazil declared war on India which forced me into a war with Brazil, but Greece did not join me when that happened.
Shouldn't Greece have been forced into the war just like I was because of my alliance with India?

If Greece had an alliance with India, then Yes, it would happen. Otherwise, no...

Also bear in mind.. If a civ you're allied to is attacked by another civ you're also allied with, you won't be forced into war...
