alternate leaderheads

i don't know whether developers will continue using civ3 type leaderheads or not, but if so, there could be alternate leaderheads (male-female and/or era-specific). i want to see napoleon or lenin furious at me
we can chose those leaders in game setup. or, we can select just flags, or both

Well, this is kind of off subject, but an idea I have is having different leader names for each era, because why would 1 leader last all the way from the Ancient times to Modern times?

Sorta off subject, but with the leaderheads changing names as time goes on, could nations change names as time went on? Russia -> USSR - > Russia
Rome -> Italy
etc.

Its a good idea but I think I have seen it up here somewhere before.

Here is something I think would be cool with leaderheads though...

Some people have said stuff about more customizable civs. But most disagree because it takes away what is civ. BUt how bout an in program Leaderhead maker. THere are plenty of games out there that let you desing a fully indepth person... SO why not ad alot of this to civ.. Just for your leader.

I think this would be expeacially cool for Multiplayer since the AI would likely be default characters. BUt even that could be tweaked. Add the feature 'Desing AI Leader' or something.

THis owuld keep the civs as they are but add a kewl in game customizable feature that one could explore and amuse themselves with prior to the game. Furthermore, the creation of LeaderHeads for senerios would become much easier.

THe in game feature could be simple with allowable features to be used... But if set up right one could create new features for a character on there own and pop it in the right folder to see it accessable in the 'Desing LeaderHeads' function.

1 leader last all the way through because it is a game. Besides, who would be the leader of America in teh ancient age and who would be the leader of Babylon in the Modern ages?

There have been a lot lately. As well as threads from some who want to change the whole foundation of the series.

I always though it would be fun if you had an option to compile a "photofit" type image of yourself at the start of a game, sort of like customising your palace in that you don't have to do it but you can if you feel like adding a personal touch.
