Hello

What do who think about starting alone with an american civilation, like americans or aztecs in the world map?
And only when I become many cities I start contacting european/asiatic and african cultures

The Firaxis-provided maps have random start locations, so I don't see how it makes much difference. I started a few games on the world map as the Americans but always ended up in the Gobi Desert or sub-Saharan Africa.
