I'm not at all surprised that this is happening. With bigger, cheaper disc drives, it only took one email provider doing this to make them all go this route. Thanks Google! I may not use Gmail, but I'm certainly getting bennies from what they're doing.

You know, on a message board I freqent, people were saying that they should get a gmail group going to send music files too. Heh.

I would have thought that it would be based on small groups of people sharing music by email as otherwise everyone needs to know a lot of other email addresses. Doesn't answer the question of what the mail providers would do if it increased in popularity.
