Anders Frisk to stop refereeing...

But you are by linking Mourinho to the death threats and Frisk's retirement! :p

I suspect the latter
We all know that Mourinho has done nothing out of the ordinary and can't be held responsible for Frisk's retirement.
"Mourinho's ridiculous outbursts"- You know that's a gross exaggeration that you can't justify. This kind of thing does not routinely lead to threats/retirements, and neither do far worse incidents that occur every week.
"and the shows how much of a big prick Jose Mourinho actually is"- But people still blame Mourinho...

RE connecting the dots...this unequivocally implies that Mourinho is responsible.

I'll say it again...If you want to make claims like these, you need to back them up. You haven't.

Then why is he a pr*ck?

Because he is extremely arrogant, for one, and that happens to annoy me. I remember him saying Chelsea were a class above Barcelona before the Champion's League tie. What happened? Chelsea barely scored a victory on aggregate, after losing the fist leg.

The incident took place at half time, remember, before Chelsea lost and when they were leading 1-0. That's why there was no press conference.

Is it fair to say he whined? I don't think so. There were some passing remarks, but it was not given as the reason for Chelsea's defeat; Mourinho admitted that Chelsea were outplayed. Contrary to what you may think/say, Mourinho has been gracious in defeat this season...only days before the Barcelona tie Chelsea were knocked out of the FA Cup. The reason? Mourinho: "It was my fault".

All I have to say is that it seemed to me that Mourniho implied that if the incident had not taken place, the outcome would have been different. And I don't see how when the incident took place has anything to do with it, as Mourinho probably wouldn't have complained about anything even if he did know about it, had Chelsea won the tie.

You should be well aware that managers disagree with officials week in week out. You should also know that this is nothing in relation to many other incidents that take place in football. Mourinho did nothing exceptional at all.

Frisk has retired because of death threats. Mourinho didn't send them and he doesn't condone them. Blaming this on Mourinho is childish and naive IMO. Any football fan knows of the relationship between officials and managers, and that Mourinho is not "the enemy of football".

I'm not saying Mourinho sent or even supported these threats, I think that his actions helped to lead a number of fans to act in this way, and if Mourinho had handled the situation a little more eloquently, then this problem might not have arisen.

You'll need a quote I'm afraid.

Mourinho complained at half time...before Chelsea lost...He therefore couldn't be complaining because of the loss.

Nonsense. Mourinho's supposed actions were undoubtedly tame in comparison to what many other refs endure week in week out. There was nothing exceptional about Mourinho's conduct.

You're not making these claims because of Mourinho's behaviour, but because of Frisk's retirement...

No-one at Uefa has linked Mourinho's comments with the resignation of Anders Frisk. This is not on the agenda for our next executive committee meeting.
Swivel.
