Hi!

I've recently completed my Andromda Ascendant Scenario(based on the Sci-Fi serie). Although I've to do some balancing I'll release my actuell version.

The scenario starts at the beginning of the fourth season. I've tried to make it as realistic a possible, but I've to invent and edit some details so that it can work as a good CIVII-scenario. For excample: there is Seefra I and Tarn Vedra, although it will be discovered during the fifth season that it's the same planet. I've also created a new civ(there is nothing compareable mentioned in the serie) so that you have better chances against the Magog. Furthermore I've also develloped a couple of new units(also not in the serie, mostly for futuristic technologies). I have used some pictures from Broken_Erika for them(if you don't want them be used in this scenario, I'll exchange them).

Finally the download-link: Andromeda Ascendant

I usual use beta-tester, especially for programmed games, but this is my first larger scenario for 3 years and my former beta-tester don't play CIVII anymore.

something I've forgotten to mention: the whole scenario is in German, but it should be no problem for an experienced CIV-player

If somebody has any suggestion for improvements or changes, I'll be very thankful.

maybe you should not give a download link but recruit one or two beta-testers first.

in any case, good to see some new material on the Sci-Fi side. :goodjob:
Use us as your beta testers :mischief:

I've been testing my scenario for a while and I've discovered some problems. Maybe somebody can help me to find useful solution.

1. How do I make units for the AI more attracktiv. I was able to create one unit for every CIV, that is taken by the AI, but when they developpe they start building stupid weak units, preferable air-units and frighters.

2. I think it is a little too easy. I was able to win at deity with the weakest civ. But maybe the problem will be solved when the AI builds the right units.

3. It seems that the AI can't handle the real strong units. It stationates the most powerful attack unit in an unimportant city far behind the front line.

4. Why can air-units(except helicopters) be attacked by ground forces? I think it is against the rules of the game, but in my scenario it is possible(Note: I'm sure that the attacking units have no fighter ability).

Maybe anybody else will discover other bugs. Thank you for your help!
