Klaus Hergersheimer
Emperor
He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I always found him genuine, and he's never afraid to play many different genres enough to give them their due credit.
In short, he's disappointed with Civ 7:
- can't read the UI. Looks unfinished in parts.
- tech tree confusing
- combat animations go too fast (?)
- can't rename cities
- does your character speak during diplomacy? His do not.
- new ages reset all wars, diplomacy (?)
- there seems to be a final age which is unavailable right now
- my question that he didn't ask: if you change civilizations, how do you know which color banners are yours for your units? Do you have to keep track of that?
- way too expensive for 70 bucks.
For me, I pulled the trigger too early on Humankind and I will not be doing that again. So, see you in a year, maybe.
But my tummy's a little full with Civ 5 right now. (And 6 can go fly a kite). Firaxis will have to iron out quite a few bumps in 7 before I commit.
