Lets say I have a mod pack or a module, and I'm crazy and want to take the files and just put them into the base file of the game. Like make the normal game the mod. Is it possible? if so how would I do this?

(The mods in question are Rise of Mankind and the modules that add civs)

Doing this is not reccomended, as if you screw something up (and you inevitable will at some point) you will need to reinstall the game.

You can put most modded files in the MyGames\Bts\CustomAssets folder - it mirrors the file/folder structure of the game, so the stuff you put there basicly overrides the base content.

You can not put modules into CustomAssets folder, but you can create a "Modules" folder in the Beyond the Sword\Assets\ folder and put modules there. You still need to enable modular loading via Civ4 ini of course.

If you hold on for a month (more than likely less) i am making a mod that has tons and tons of flavor with RoM as the base. But if you cant wait i have alot of civs in my mod in my signature (NFW) already, that RoM is the base also.:p
