In the Antarctic Late Summer Game Update preview video there is no mention of upgrading the AI with regard to fighting better militarily - if this part of the game is not updated CIV 6 will still be pretty much useless as a singeplayer game because it is way to easy to win by Domination (and war is the most fun aspect of the game ;-) )
As it is the AI produces to few military units, and deployes these piecemal so they are easy to kill off. Late game it focuses on GK Robots instead of airplanes, and whatever bombers and fighters are present are misused - if used at all. If the human player adds 3-4 bombers (later jet bombers) to his/her military the game is as good as won.
CIV devs please make the AI a better fighting machine...
