Any Baldur's Gate fans?

Well, we just had a similar forum on Age of Empires, so why not Baldur's Gate?

I just have one question though; is it best to play Baldur's Gate I before BGII?

I didn't like the limitations of BG1 - spell level and all that.
BG2 was fun, but it was a bit too long, i stopped playing at chapter6 (iirc) both times i played it. Got bored of it.
