Any cure for the TERRANX.ICD error?

That damned error has sprung up in two games in recent days, shutting it down before I could do anything.

Tried it, and the error hit again. Again at the same points as before.

Exactly what is this error and why is it bedeviling me now?

The instances I'm encountering this error are very late in the game (around MY 2400 or shortly thereafter). But its persistent and basically keeping me from finishing.

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?
