Any mods out there that enhance combat in the late game

I always feel like later in the game the combat is really boring and stale. It's like just rushing in modern armor and marines endlessly...
I was wondering if there are any mods that are here that add on some more futuristic units like robots and stuff.

It always seems to me that it's just 2 units that are fighting out there in the end...

Well yes actually. I am currently working on a mod that adds quite a few new units including Cyborgs. (amongst other changes)

Although it is only scheduled to be released on May 10th, it is sort of what you are looking for.

That section of this forum is for unit graphics. Lots of people are making new units so it isn't that hard to pick up a few that you might like and put them into your own game.
