Any news on patching beyond 1.09?

Does anyone have any information on patches to Civ IV beyond the 1.09 patch? I still crash to the desktop, and occasionally Blue Screen WinXP. The game is unplayable for me in its current form without a save-game every turn.

There is another patch in the works but not much info on fixes or release date. I'd guess sometime in January.

They're supposedly working on performance and memory issues, but I've seen no word on when another patch will actually be available.

Meanwhile, have you tried Harkonnen's patch? My game stopped crashing after using this, so apparently some of the crashing is due to memory abuse...
