Any way to not show enemy moves?

Is there any way to stop the computer from showing enemy moves? It seems like it takes 2 minutes between each move to show what the neighboring Workers are doing.

...its an absolute pain in the tail

someone plz with a solution....ive just had to run my 7 dating.com accounts while the stupid AI take their turn....I try not to explore too much cause i dont want to reveal more of their units. Most of them do stupid scouting missions back and forth over three squares...if I see another freakin enemy calvary doin the two-tile tango!!!!!!!!!!!

Holding SHIFT still shows other civs turns, but it speeds up considerably.

I think it just speeds up the AI Animations which can be turned off entirely in the Prefs.

I've actually started a couple of wars just to kill enemy units that were running back and forth wasting my time. What are they doing, staying exercised? Sit down and fortify!

The manual was out of date when the game was released. I agree that watching the same unit move back and forth for 500 years is f**king idiotic :suicide: Oh well, once I have ICBM's that spearman will get whats coming to him

i'm guessing you figured out that you can turn off animation for enemy moves ...

that is better but still too slow on huge maps.

i love the diplomacy on huge maps (16 civs) but i will play medium-sized from now on.
