does anyone create CIVs on request. It would be great if anyone could make a Bosnian CIV for me. I had a go myself and found out that modding isn't really for me and I don't have enough time to sit down and learn it. So I guess that there are people who can mod CIVs quite quickly. I will provide you with all the information including city names, special unit, flags etc.

If anyone is interested then that would be great!

What the hey. If you supply me with all in info and pictures. I should be able to pump out a civ for you pretty quickly. Give me a break from working on the Civilopedia stuff for my Harry Potter mod.

What I will need.
Civilization:
Flag
Name
Colors you want (two of them)
City names
Unique Unit (you'll have to either make one yourself or choose what one you want to borrow from another civ in the game)
What techs do you want them to start with (two of the first six are usually best)

Leaders:
Name
Picture
Fav civic
Traits (two)

ohh, and do you want this to just be incorperated into the vanilla game? Or do you want it to replace another civ?

Name: Bosnia and Herzegovina

Flag:
bosniaflag1rd.gif

Colours: Yellow, blue/dark blue

City Names:
Sarajevo
Banja Luka
Mostar
Zenica
Tuzla
Prijedor
Brcko
Bijeljina
Doboj
Neum
Bihac
Trebinje
Bugojno
Derventa
Donji Vakuf
Foca
Gornji Vakuf
Gracanica
Jajce
Konjic
Ljubuski
Srebrenica
Tesanj
Visoko
Bosanski Brod
Bosanski Petrovac
Gorazde

Starting Techs:
agriculture
mysticism

Unique Unit:
Armija BIH
You can use the Marine for this example just rename it to "Armija BIH".
Its promotions should be, +25% city defense and +25% forest defence.

Leaders:
Because of the screwed up political situation in Bosnia, there are three "presidents" each representing one of the three ethnic entities. There is always a president with two "sub-Presidents". Therefore do not put any leader name in the CIV, just put "Prjedsjednik BIH" which means President of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Leaders' Picture:
Therefore just insert the Bosnian flag above in the Leader's picture.

Favourite Civic:
I am assuimng that you want a favourite civic out of each of the five civic areas. So,
governement - representation
legal - free speech
labor - emancipation
economy - free market
religion - free religion

Traits:
Industrious
Spiritual

... and thanx for offering to do this. If there is anything you need me to do then tell me.

Pa šta ne staviš nekoga povjesnog lika za vođu? ;) Pozdrav

(Try to find some historical person for BiH and put him as a leader, that would be politicaly correct)

The vanilla game is the unmodified version of the game. Think vanilla ice cream (you did know that all flavors of ice cream start with vanilla, right?).

Therefore the vanilla civs are the original civs that came with the game.

yeah i tried doing that already and had everyone complaining.
"on nevalja on je ovo i ono, nacionalista......"

... and another reason is that im making a CIV of the modern bosnia, therefore the new flag.

if i ever get the around creating CIVs i might make a CIV with the old leader and old flag....

Ok I will just add it as a new civilization. I will start working on this one.

(Edit) Except for one thing. The favored civic is just one civic. It seems like there should be five, but it only has one per leader.

(Edit #2) Oh, and I need the Civilopedia info you want for the Civilization, Unit, and Leader

Fantastic work!

Ok the favourite civic is then free religion.

CIV info:

The history of Bosnia and Herzegovina stratches back to the Roman times, however the medieval kingdom of Bosnia first gained independence at around 1200. Then in the 15th century it became part of the Ottoman Empire, until it was annexed by Austria in 1908. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina becomes the sight of the assassination of Austrian King, Franz Ferdinand. This was the trigger for WW1. Following WW2 Bosnia and Herzegovina becomes a state in the former communist country of Yugoslavia, under the rule of Josip Broz Tito. During this time Bosnian capital Sarajevo held the 1984 winter olympic games, the only olympic games staged in former Yugoslavia. After Tito's death in 1980, Slobodan Milosevic becomes the president of Yugoslavia. After ethnic tension and the break out of the 1991 war between Croatia and Milosevic's Yugoslav (Serb) army, Bosnia and Herzegovina once again declared independence in 1992. A civil war between ethnic groups resulted in which Bosnian Serbs, supported by the Yugoslav army, seizes large parts of the country and ethnically cleanses non-Serbs. The following years see the initiation of planned genocide operations by the Serb army against the Muslim and Croat ethnicities, as well as war crimes committed by individuals of all three ethnicities. The war finally ended in 1996 with the signing of the Dayton agreement, which split Bosnia into two ethnic states, the Republika Srpska (Serb population) and the Federacija (Muslim and Croat population).

Unit:
Armija BIH (Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina) was Bosnia's army which fought for independence between 1992 and 1996, and attempted to supress Milosevic's and Mladic's army. The army was mostly made up of Bosnian Muslims. With similarities to the Vietnam war, the army fought courageously, in what seemed an impossible struggle against the much larger and more technologically advanced Serb army.

Leader:
Because of the complicated political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, no specific leader is selected for this CIV. The leader is "Prjedsjednik BIH" or the "President of Bosnia and Herzegovina".

The mod is great just one thing, there are white horizontal stripes at either side of the flag, can the flag be stratched enough to take up the whole space???
