Anyone else try no corruption?

It's the first thing I changed - and lethal bombardment.

I am so much happier. I don't know that there shouldn't be any but I'm trying none and I'll experiment from there. Sure, rival civs plop cities down in the middle of your territory and now they are a real threat since they can generate defensive units quickly, but I can now send a settler and spearman to another continent and let it build a second empire almost without help.

Wars are bigger as we can all generate many more units to fight with and it's harder, so far, to successfully invade but easier to defend, in my experience so far.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried it and what they thought.

Yes, I've just tried it on Marla's map. I had probably 50 or so cities in the Americas and a bunch of island cities scattered around the globe. Not one single lost shield or gold due to corruption or waste, anywhere! If you set the slider to 0% it really is 0% corruption. No need to build Forbidden Palace, courthouses, or police stations although you are given the chance. I wonder what 200% corruption would be like?

True, yet the typically cash poor AI civs don't seem to have that much more gold so far. Enron manages money better than the AI.

I've played a couple games. One game with 10% corruption and this last game with 30%. I must say that 30% played perfect. There was a little corruption but it wasn't a dominating issue.
