This game is by far my favorite game of all time!

Its acually rated number 5 for top best strategy games at www.strategyinformer.com

Imagine Medieval Total War without the clunky 3-D meets the diplomatic intricacy of Civ 4.

The game works where you rule a historical Kingdom in one of the three medival periods. You have a campaign view that is very interactive and cool graphics where instead of the boring map in the Total War games its a detailed view of all the kingdoms and you villages and Castles. You use a Marshall to build an army and you buy the units that your marshall recruits then when you attack a city or opposing army it goes to a battle view where you control your units similar to Total War games but without the ugly 3d. The graphics are much nicer but you don't need an amazing PC to run it. Anyways, I highly reccomend the game. Its my favorite one now. I got bored of Civ 4 and AOE 3 already, but i've been playing KOH for months.

THATS SUPPOSED TO SAY: "Played it and LOVED it" not Loed, lol. Moderators, can you fix that by chance?

I got this game!:goodjob:

It is a VERY good game, I would recommend downloading the demo, if you enjoyed that, buy the game. I didn't even download the demo, I went straight to buying the game when it 1st came out.

I too started a thread about Knights of Honor a year ago when it first came out, it was a pretty popular thread, with the same people though.

If you have any questions on the game, I'll be glad to answer them.

Also another thing, the music in the game ROCKS!

The demo was fun, but I did not like it in that you can't save and everone declared war on me when I clicked the emporor of Europe button.

Also the game doesn't run in full window as the start bar is still there... if that isn't in the full version then I will buy it if I see it.

Played it and it was okay.

So true! The music is amazing and I love the game. I don't know if you heard but they are actually working on a new patch for the game! Strange since its been out so long but its because of the loyal fan base.

I anticipate finding out what they patch will add and fix.

You can save in the full version and you NEVER want to try and be Emperor of Europe unless you are the largest and most powerful. The full version is full window, as far as I remember the demo was also, maybe something is funky with your computer..

Also I highly discourage the use of Opera, firefox is the best all around browser hands down.

Heh, no. Not without a number of add ons. Which I am too lazy to bother with. Opera vanilla is better thean FF vanilla. But this is not the place to discuss it.

I do agree the music is nice. I liked how I didn't haev to worry about money after only a short time. Except the army was incredibly expensive so I didn't have one.

i wonder who made the music...

Uhh..I know this answer, 1 min. You can download the whole soundtrack at the main website at the downloads tab. Jeez, I know this too who made the music. It is a composer from the country the game was made in....oh well I'll tell you when I know it.

And yup, I knew the patch was coming out. That's a good thing. But they should make Knights of Honor 2, in 3D or something, if they make it. That would be awesome!!!

What is the reqs for the game?

Its on their website. If you had mozilla you could see them ;)

Anyways the reqs are pretty easy to meet as long as you have a relatively recent PC. Unlike the new games coming out...

Errr... is this a game from Paradox?

To put it simply yes, the game came out in the U.S. under paradox. But it was distributed in Europe by Sunflowers, makers of the AD games, anno 1701 etc.

The game was developed by a small company in Bulgaria called Black Seas Studios, their only game thus far.

Ah, so Paradox is the publisher...

The publisher is Sunflowers. But US distribution was paradox so I suppose the US publisher is technically Paradox, yes. Anyways, its affiliation with paradox and sunflowers testifies to the quality of the game. Its really good even compared to all the other paradox games, in my opinion.
