Hi guys,

I've been out of the loop and would like to know if there is any news releases or interviews (etc.) about Fable the new Molyneux game that is supposed to come out sometime next year.

Thanks ! :)

This game is looking promising! The screenshots I've seen are beautiful. Here's a link to the latest story I've read about the game right here.

I got it last night (release day) and it is awesome! I'm not too far into it, as I like to take my time with these type of games. But so far, it is beautiful in the graphics department, and the ideas behind character building sound really cool. I'll post more thoughts as I get more time with it in the next week.

My twin is practically drooling over this game, while I on the other havn't heard a single thing about it

A kid two years older than me in my ROTC class got it yesterday evening when it came out. He says so far it rox then gave me some stats or somethin. But I said you should give it to me so I can play it. He says I could go to his house to play it, even though he barely knows me. He is really cool though.

I haven't really heard much about it, but I don't have an xbox, so as long as long as I don't hear anything about it, I can carry on with "The xbox has no games that I want" philosophy. :)

I got Fable on Tuesday (release day). I originally had reserved it last June when the original release day was about a year ago.

So far seems to be a cool game. Not as expansive as Morrowind, but better graphics and combat interface for sure. The charactyer building system seems to be pretty good, but it also seems to lack a variety of weapons. There is ten types of weapons, and no more than six different 'levels' of each weapon. Most weapons do seem to be customizable though.

Now, was it worth a fifteen month wait? That seems doubtful, but it sure has been getting a bunch of my time, even with all my SG's. :)

Got it and like it. But many people are saying that it is waaaay too short. Completion time in like 10-15 hours!

Graphics are fantastic, and I like just about everything in the game.

Yeah, I've got about 10 hrs invested, I've done a lot of it, and I've been dragging my feet on getting to the end. For the amount of time they spent developing it, I'm looking for 100hrs of playtime. :(

yeah, me, too! I'm taking the roleplaying (versus powerplay) method, because I don't want it to end! I understand that there are no more quests from the guild after you finish the game, so there is no real reason to keep playing. Bummer. :(

I can only hope that Fable 2 is being thought up...although, at the rate BBB develops, we won't see it until 2008 for the X-Box 4!! ;)

Isn't there something like choose your own destiny though?
In that case you can just continue to make new people and relive the fun again and again :D

I don't have the game, nor an Xbox, but it seems that some people are satisfied with the game, and a lot of people think it's very mediocre. Gabe of Penny-arcade pretty much hated the game, and he says that he did not fall into the hype either.

Don't know that I really fell for the hype, I was just fool enough to trust a release date. :D

The game is good, that much is true. Kinda repetitive, and not nearly expansive enough. I wouldn't pay new release money for it again. $20 would be a different story....

And yes, DaBomb, you can choose your own destiny, go good or evil. However, if you want to do that, go buy KOTOR. Much better storyline, better fight abilities, and MUCH larger.

Yup, much like being a Hero is part of the story of Fable.

But the evil in KOTOR just feels more evil, if that makes any sense. :crazyeye:

IT LOOKS LIKE A WINNER! AND IT IS OUT! Everything that you do affects your quest in some way! Every monster you kill, every door that you open, even every flower you crush! The graphics even look beautiful! One problem: An adult has to be there if you are under 17, in most stores. (It's rated M, ya know) If it weren't for that, I'd probably go and get it! Maybe I'll make a tamer version...
